Forest Explorers Outdoor Early Learning Centre

– Sustainable Lumber Processing

Project Overview

Located within Westley Clover Park, the Forest Explorers Outdoor Early Learning Centre is a unique forestry school designed to immerse children in nature-based education. Our business played a key role in this project by processing all the logs sourced directly from the site, ensuring that every piece of salvaged lumber was repurposed sustainably.

Our Contribution

From start to finish, our team handled the milling and preparation of site-harvested logs, transforming them into functional and aesthetic materials for the new school.

Salvaged Lumber for Sustainable Construction

  • Exterior Board and Batten Siding: Milled and processed to enhance the natural beauty of the forestry school while ensuring durability.

  • Structural Posts: Carefully cut and prepared to support the outdoor learning environment.

  • Interior Tables: Crafted from salvaged wood, these tables provide students with natural, handcrafted surfaces to learn and explore.

Sustainability in Action

This project aligned perfectly with our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable wood utilization. By repurposing logs from the site, we helped reduce waste and maintain the integrity of the local ecosystem.

Why This Project Matters
